Albert R. Mann Library

Library Technical Services helps to build and provide access to Cornell University Library's collections through acquiring, licensing and processing library materials in all formats and providing the organization, records and metadata for their easier retrieval and access. Under the leadership of Scott Wicks, the Director of Library Technical Services, LTS has offices in Mann (map it) and Olin Libraries.

The LTS staff listed below are located in Mann Library and can assist in a wide range of technical services questions, including those for the Mann and Entomology collections, or would be able to forward questions to LTS staff in Olin Library who might have particular expertise or responsibilities in other areas.

Mann Library's online collections have grown considerably. A decade-long partnership with economic agencies of the USDA has resulted in the development of the USDA Economics and Statistics System, which provides access to USDA reports and datasets. Metadata librarians, who provide expertise in the organization, management and archival of digital information resources, have been involved in the creation and ongoing maintenance of several collections, including the Cornell University Geospatial Information Repository (CUGIR) and the Home Economics Archive.
