Collection Development & Preservation

The Collection Development and Preservation Division at Mann Library is responsible for the selection of material for the Library's collection. We select books, journals, electronic resources, and a small number of multi-media/audiovisual resources that support the research, teaching, and extension programs of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Human Ecology. In addition to the maintenance of these physical collections, a number of our initiatives also focus on the collection, access and long term preservation of resources in digital form, which give Mann Library a global role in the dissemination of scholarship throughout the world.

Collection Policies

The policies listed on this page describe in detail what Mann collects and why. Contact information for individual selectors is also available.
