Serials Review Project Timetable
Because serials are ordered and paid for several months before the beginning of the subscription year, the serials evaluation needs to take place during the spring and summer months. While we understand that this poses an inconvenience to our faculty, cancellations requests for the 2007 subscription year need to be made with the serial vendor by fall.
The following chart illustrates the timeline we will use:
April 4-June 16 | Preliminary cancellation list is prepared |
June 19 | Cancellation list communicated by Web to faculty |
June 19 - August 18 | Adjustments to the list based on faculty feedback |
August 21 | Preliminary list of cancellations to Acquisitions Librarian |
September 22 | Final list of cancellations to Acquisitions Librarian |
