All items can be checked out at the first floor circulation desk with a valid Cornell ID. Laptops, study rooms and lockers are available on a walk-in, first come, first served basis only. Laptops
Available for 4 hour loan (in-library use only). Policies and other details can be found on the laptop page. If laptops are not available, check our Classrooms and Labs quick links page for other locations that may have the software you need on desktop machines.

Study Rooms
Individual study rooms are available for 4 hour loan, group study rooms 2 hours. Dry erase marker kits and timers are also available. Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis, and are not intended for ongoing classes.

Special Purpose Areas/Rooms
AV Production Room for multimedia production/editing. Available to Cornell students, faculty and staff on a walk-in basis or by reservation.
Bissett Collaborative Area, a customizable space with configurable work stations, with LCD screens, computers, whiteboards, partitions, chairs and tables.
Classrooms & Labs equipped with computers and projectors. The Classrooms and Labs quick links page provides direct links to schedules, software lists and reservation info.
Mann Library Lobby, adjacent to the Manndible Cafe offers seating for studying, eating, and conversing. A kiosk with LCDs displaying Cornell community generated content and CNN, as well as a bulleting board are also there.
Projector Room available on a walk-in basis or by reservation for 2 hour blocks.
Seminar & Conference rooms are also available for use by members of the Cornell community, by reservation only.
Lockers
Keys can be checked out at the circulation desk. A limited number of study desks with attached lockers are also available to grad students (see below).
- Laptop Lockers (first floor) 4 hour loan, first come, first served basis.
- Book lockers (third and fourth floors) semester loan, reservable at circulation desk.
Graduate Study Desks & Lockers
A limited number of open desks with attached lockers are available to Cornell grad students in the 3rd floor Graduate Study area. They can be charged out for the semester. Applications are available at the circulation desk.
