Equipment can be checked out by Cornell students, faculty and staff with a valid Cornell ID at the circulation (circ) desk located on the first floor of Mann Library. All items have a maximum loan period of 4 days (includes initial loan period and any granted extensions). Please read our Equipment Policy sheet for detailed loan and support policies.
You can check future availability and reserve any of these items by clicking the appropriate reserve me link in the table below. If currently available and not reserved, equipment is also available on a walk-in basis. Tripods are available as an accessory for any camera loan.

A Panasonic DMRES45V VHS to DVD deck is available in the Stone Computing area on the first floor. It is attached to a Sharp television for viewing. Basic instructions for transferring footage to DVD are posted next to the unit. A detailed manual is available here.
Although Mann Library does not have a public fax machine, there are numerous free online fax services available as well as public fax machines scattered across campus; these are described on the Fax Services page.
Limited support is available for equipment users. Manuals and quick guides are available (click item description in table above for links). Our tutorials and workshops may also be of use. If you are using one of the Apple applications (e.g. iMovie, iDVD, or Final Cut), the Apple Support site may be helpful, including iMovie tutorials iDVD tutorials.
