Directions to Mann Library

Since June 2000 the library's collection and staff have been housed in the library's new addition behind the main Mann Library building. The current entrance to the Mann library is located just east of the Agricultural Quadrangle on the eastern side of Cornell University's Ithaca campus. Patrons may enter the library from the quad by walking through the tunnel on the quad's south east corner, or by walking through the entryway between Emerson and Fernow Halls. The library is fully wheelchair accessible. A clickable map of the campus is available.

• From the West, take the NY State Thruway to exit 42 (Geneva) and Route 96 South to Ithaca. Take Green Street to downtown Ithaca, then proceed up State street away from the Commons. Take a left on College Ave and proceed onto campus. Take a right on Campus Road, a left on Garden Avenue, and then a right onto Tower road.
• From the South, take Interstate 81 North through Binghamton to Whitney Point and Route 79 West toward Ithaca. As you approach town, take a right on College Ave and proceed onto campus. Take a right on Campus Road, a left on Garden Avenue, and then a right onto Tower road.
• From the East, take Route 13 east through Dryden and then take a left on 366. When you enter Ithaca, take a right on Judd Falls road and then a left onto Tower road.
• From the North, travel south to downtown Ithaca. Take Green Street to downtown Ithaca, then proceed up State street away from the Commons. Take a left on College Ave and proceed onto campus. Take a right on Campus Road, a left on Garden A venue, and then a right onto Tower road.

Parking

Parking near the library is available along Tower Road and behind Rice, Fernow, and Bradfield Halls. When first arriving on campus, check with a Transportation Services information booth about where to park and how much it will cost. Except for some limited metered parking spaces, parking on campus is by permit only Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily parking permits are available at the information booths. The nearest metered parking to Mann is at the corner of Judd Falls and Tower roads. Visitors may park for free after 5 p.m. weekdays and on weekends.
