The Instruction Program at Mann Library provides teaching and research support to the students, faculty, and staff at CALS, CHE, and the Division of Nutritional Sciences.
We are deeply committed to the fact that an information literacy program should work towards the creation of lifelong learners, who will use information in its many forms and contexts, efficiently and effectively.
Our Instruction Program consists of:
- Workshops, which are open to the entire Cornell community,
- Course-Related Instruction sessions arranged for specific classes, including research guides and library assignments, and
- Special Instruction sessions for targeted audiences, e.g. graduate students, new TAs, international students, professor emeriti, high school students, as well as the Cornell Cooperative Extension educators, staff, and offices, and the African Centre for Crop Improvement. Use the request form to request an instruction session.
- Tutorials are also available.
- The Stone computing classroom can also be reserved for other instructional purposes by Cornell faculty and teaching staff, and by Mann Library staff using the reservation form.
