Select the following options: - Save these fields: Complete record - Also save: Field names with short labels, record number and database name. Click the "Save" or "E-mail" button. Save as a text-only file (.*txt). SilverPlatter (WinSPIRS/MacSPIRS): Click on the "Download" button to save search results to a file. Use the following download options: - Download ALL fields. - Short Field Names. - Download Record Numbers. LIMITATIONS 1. EndNote will attempt to import corporate authors ("CA:" tag) as a person's name. You will need to correct these names after import. For example: CA: AIDS in Europe Study Group Will be imported as: Aids in Europe Study Group After importing, you'll want to correct the entry in your database to the proper author format for corporate authors: AIDS in Europe Study Group, (Notice the comma placement at the end of the name.) You can also modify this filter to import the "CA:" tag into a non-author field. 2. CAB Abstracts records labeled solely as "Conference-paper", "Conference-proceedings" or "Miscellaneous" contain data in the "SO:" tag that is too inconsistent to parse into the appropriate fields. This information is entered wholly into the "Conference Name" or "Secondary Title" fields. You may need to manually cut and paste the information into the appropriate fields after importing.
