Circulation Services

Circulation, also called Access Services, represents a cluster of services related to accessing library materials. Borrowing and Delivery

Requests - Information about recalling or placing holds on books that are currently charged out, or requesting materials from other libraries or special collections.

Borrowing - Finding and checking out items from the Mann Library collection, and loan periods and policies that apply for different patron types (undergrad, graduate, staff, faculty, proxy borrower, and privilege card holder). Check Course Reserves page to find short term loan and online materials "on reserve" for courses at Cornell.

Renewals - Renewing charged items, materials that do not have renewal privileges, and blocks that can prevent a renewal from going through.

Returns - Where to return library items and related policies.

Document Delivery (includes Interlibrary Loan and related services) - Requesting materials not owned by Cornell or from Cornell).
