Chronicles of Human Ecology

A fall 2011 exhibit by Gilad Meron (DEA, Class of 2012) in the Mann Library lobby highlights the people and principles that have  established the College of Human Ecology—from its earliest beginnings to the present day—as a world leader in research, teaching and science-based extension. Views in this slideshow are from the publication, "Home Economics at Cornell," published in 1952 by the New York State College of Home Economics, the first state-chartered college of home economics in the United States. In 1969, the New York State legislature renamed the College to the New York State College of Human Ecology.
