The Information & Research Help Desk is on the first floor of Mann Library (hours, map)

In addition to walk-in research help, library users may schedule a one-on-one research consultation:

  • Consultation appointments may be made for citation management, systematic reviews, business research, and in-depth research in any discipline in CALS and CHE. Request a consultation
  • GIS (Geographic Information Systems) help is available on a walk-in basis most week day afternoons (schedule). Other times are available by appointment.

E-mail Reference Policy

Mann Library's e-mail reference service is provided primarily to the faculty, students and staff of Cornell University. We also serve the citizens of the State of New York and anyone needing help using the USDA Economics and Statistics System or other information provided through the Cornell Library or contained within our collections. Mann Library reference staff can answer questions in the subject areas of our collections, which include resources in agriculture, life sciences and selected areas of the social sciences. Questions outside the scope of our services should be directed to your local public or academic library.
