Stone Computing Center

Mann library has an open-area lab, the Stone Computing Center (map it) on the first floor of Mann, and four seperate computer classrooms within Mann Library. These classrooms operate as labs when a class is not in session.

CIT Computer Classroom and Lab

The CIT computer classroom and lab is located just off the front lobby of Mann Library in room 112 (map it). The entrance is on the inside of Mann Library, on the right when you are facing the library's Circulation Desk. There are 24 Dell PC's (plus 1 for the instructor) available, each with a flat panel LCD monitor, and dry erase boards are available to the instructor. The classroom is open during regular Mann Library building hours. The room is open for use by students when classes are not in session.

Tri-Classroom (Stone/B30A/B30B) Calendar

Stone Computer Classroom and Lab

The Stone computer classroom and lab is located just off the front lobby of Mann Library in room 103 (map it).  It houses a comfortable classroom of 26 Dell computers and one instructor station, which is connected to an LCD digital projector. A document camera (overhead projector), Smart Sympodium, DVD/VCR player, sound system, and dry erase board are also available to the instructor. The room may be reserved for instructional use by Cornell faculty and teaching staff, with preference given to Mann Library staff.  The room is open for use by students when classes are not in session.

Mann B30A Computer Classroom and Lab

The Mann B30A computer classroom and lab is located in the basement of Mann Library (map it).  It features 43 Dell Windows XP computers and one instructor station which is connected to an LCD digital projector. A document camera (overhead projector), Smart Sympodium, DVD/VCR player, sound system, and dry erase board are also available to the instructor. The room may be reserved for instructional use by Cornell faculty and teaching staff via the CALS Registrar's office. The room is open Mondays through Fridays for use by students when a class is not in session; please see the room hours for details.

Mann B30B Computer Classroom and Lab

Mann B30B computer classroom and lab is located in the basement of Mann Library (map it).  It features 32 dual-boot Apple iMacs (Windows XP by default) and one instructor station which is connected to twin LCD digital projectors.  A document camera (overhead projector), Smart Sympodium, DVD/VCR player, sound system, and dry erase board are also available to the instructor. The room may be reserved for instructional use by Cornell faculty and teaching staff via the CALS Registrar's office. The room is open Mondays through Fridays for use by students when a class is not in session; please see the room hours for details.

Support

The lab manager is Jeff Diver (jad2@cornell.edu, phone 255-3240). A student operator will be on duty in or near the classroom (or available by phone when away from the desk). If the Op cannot be located right away call the Computing Help Desk at 255-3240.
