Mann Library offers support for both ArcGIS and Manifold.
Mann Library offers introductory ArcGIS workshops every semester. The tutorials used during the workshops are available below. Sample data for the exercises are available on the classroom file server in the Stone Computing Center; see the individual tutorials for details.

The bookshelf near the Stone Center help desk contains complete documentation for ArcGIS software, including the book "Getting to Know ArcGIS," which contains many helpful tutorials to help you learn GIS.
Cornell students and staff are eligible to take some ESRI Virtual Campus courses free of charge.
Stephen Smith (Cornell IRIS) will be teaching a series of 2.5-day workshops, which will use the "Getting to Know ArcGIS Desktop" (2nd ed., ESRI Press, 2004) book. All participants will receive a copy. The cost of the workshop is $325 for the Cornell community, or $485 for the general public (with discounts available for multiple registrations).
